The mobile application “Eurosens configurator” is provided by Mechatronics CJSC (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”), which is the developer of the Application.
If you (hereinafter referred to as the “User”) install and use the “Eurosens configurator” mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the “Application”), please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the Application.
The Company respects the confidentiality of information and is committed to protecting it in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.
By installing and using the Application, the User confirms that they have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. General Terms
1.1 This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application “Eurosens configurator” for iOS and governs the relationship between the Company and the User regarding the use of the Application.
1.2 The Application is intended for searching, connecting to, reading data from, and configuring Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) sensors manufactured by Mechatronics CJSC, including fuel level, temperature, and tilt sensors.
1.3 This Privacy Policy applies only to the Application “Eurosens configurator”.
1.4 The Application is provided free of charge.
1.5 The Application does not contain advertising materials.
1.6 The Application does not use data for advertising, profiling, or tracking purposes.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 The Application does not require the creation of a user account.
2.2 The Application does not collect, store, or transmit the User’s personal data during normal use.
2.3 The Application does not collect, store, or transmit the User’s geographic location, GPS coordinates, or other location data.
2.4 The Application does not use Apple Location Services.
2.5 The Application does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
2.6 If the User contacts the Company directly for technical support, the Company may process the contact information voluntarily provided by the User, such as name, company name, email address, phone number, and the content of the support request. Such information is used only to respond to the User’s request and provide support.
3. Permissions and Data Requested by the Application
3.1 To ensure correct operation with BLE sensors manufactured by Mechatronics CJSC, the Application requests permission to use Bluetooth on the User’s device.
3.2 Bluetooth permission is used only for the following purposes:
– searching for nearby BLE sensors;
– connecting to selected sensors;
– reading technical data and measurement values from sensors;
– configuring sensor parameters;
– checking device information such as sensor identifier, firmware version, and configuration parameters.
3.3 The Application does not request or use permission to access the User’s location.
3.4 The Application does not use Bluetooth permission to determine the User’s location.
3.5 The Application does not use Bluetooth permission for advertising, analytics, profiling, or tracking.
3.6 The Application does not use Bluetooth background mode on iOS. Bluetooth operations are performed only when the User actively uses the Application.
3.7 The User may revoke Bluetooth permission at any time through the iOS device settings. If Bluetooth permission is revoked, the Application may be unable to find, connect to, or configure BLE sensors.
4. Sensor Data
4.1 The Application may read technical data from connected BLE sensors, including sensor type, device identifier, firmware version, configuration parameters, and measurement values such as fuel level, temperature, or tilt angle.
4.2 Such data is used only to display sensor information to the User and to configure the connected sensor.
4.3 Unless explicitly exported or shared by the User, sensor data is processed locally on the User’s device.
4.4 The Company does not use sensor data for advertising, tracking, or profiling.
5. Purpose of Processing Information
5.1 The Application processes information only for purposes directly related to its functionality.
5.2 These purposes include:
– searching for available BLE sensors;
– establishing a Bluetooth connection with selected sensors;
– reading sensor information and measurement values;
– configuring sensor parameters;
– displaying technical information necessary for sensor setup;
– providing technical support at the User’s request.
6. Transfer of Information to Third Parties
6.1 The Company does not sell User personal data.
6.2 The Company does not share User data with advertisers, advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics providers.
6.3 The Company may disclose information only in the following cases:
– if the User has given consent to such disclosure;
– if disclosure is required by applicable law or by a lawful request of competent authorities;
– if necessary to protect the rights, property, or legal interests of the Company.
7. Data Security
7.1 The Company takes reasonable organizational and technical measures aimed at protecting information from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, or disclosure.
7.2 The security of information stored on the User’s device also depends on the User. The Company recommends protecting the device with a passcode, biometric authentication, or other security measures available on the device.
7.3 No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Therefore, the Company cannot guarantee absolute security of information.
8. Children’s Privacy
8.1 The Application is not intended for children under the age of 18.
8.2 The Company does not knowingly collect or store data relating to persons under the age of 18.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
9.1 The Company reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy.
9.2 The date of the latest version of the Privacy Policy is indicated at the top of this document.
9.3 Continued use of the Application after changes to this Privacy Policy means that the User has read and understood the updated Privacy Policy.
9.4 If the User does not agree with the updated Privacy Policy, the User should stop using the Application and remove it from the device.
10. Distribution
10.1 The official distribution channels of the Application for iOS are:
– Apple App Store;
– the official website of Mechatronics CJSC: www.mechatronics.by;
– official representatives and managers of the Company, where applicable.
10.2 Any other distribution method is not official and is not supported by the Company.
10.3 This Privacy Policy applies only to official distribution channels of the Application.
11. Language
11.1 This Privacy Policy may be made available in Russian, English, and Spanish.
11.2 In the event of discrepancies between versions, the Russian version shall prevail, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
