The wireless sensor <a href=\"https:\/\/eurosenstelematics.com\/en\/home-page\/products\/onboard-weighing-systems\/eurosens-dps-bt\/\">Eurosens DPS BT<\/a> is used for axle load measurement in vehicles with air suspension. It greatly simplifies the monitoring of trailers and semi-trailers, as no additional tractor-trailer cable is required thanks to wireless data transmission.<\/p><p>Like other wireless sensors from Mechatronics , it runs on the built-in ER14505 battery for at least 5 years. Low consumption and a stable signal are achieved thanks to Silabs&#8217; state-of-the-art Bluetooth module. Data is transmitted via Bluetooth Low Energy. The sensors can work both directly with Teltonika, Navtelecom, Galileosky (and many others) tracking devices and via <a href=\"https:\/\/eurosenstelematics.com\/en\/home-page\/products\/data-transmission-and-convertion\/eurosens-bt-com\/\">Eurosens BT-COM<\/a> receiver, which converts the sensor signal into RS485 interface. In doing so, the BT-COM receiver can also handle a trailer &#8220;swap&#8221; event, which is not possible when the sensors are connected directly to the GPS trackers.<\/p><p>Like the wired version of the Eurosens DPS, the wireless sensor is mounted in a pneumatic line break using a tee and a piece of pneumatic tube from the mounting kit.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>
