Mechatronics Cloud Configuration Server

The settings of Eurosens Dominator BT wireless fuel level sensors can now be password protected – the new configurator has such an option. But this is only the visible part of a large “iceberg” of improvements, the invisible part of which consists in the cloud service of configuration and maintenance of Eurosens equipment, the alpha version of which is available at mechatronics-service.com.

How will this cloud service be useful?

1. Suppose you have set a password in the sensor and forgot it. Or you don’t know what settings or tank calibration table are saved in the sensor, which is often required during technical support of the equipment.

In this case you can always find the sensor by its serial number on the cloud service and see this information.

2. You can register on the cloud service as a company administrator and manage access to the configurators.
Previously, to run the Eurosens configurator on a new mobile device, Mechatronics administrators had to authorize the device. By registering on the cloud service as a company administrator you can register new mobile devices of your employees or generate a unique access code, with which the launch of the configurator on a new device does not require the approval of the administrator.

3. You can configure the sensor via the web-interface of the cloud service – the employee will only need to apply these settings when connecting to the sensor via Bluetooth.

4. You will always be able to find out when the sensor was last adjusted and by whom, what settings were changed.

Among the planned new products are also :

1. Automated tools to find errors in calibration tables.

You will be able to find out if your employees or contractors have made an error in tank calibration before they even leave the installation site.

      2. Automatically check that firmware is up to date when connected to the sensors and update them when they are connected.
And of course, integration of the cloud service with all Eurosens equipment configurators – both wired and wireless fuel level and consumption sensors, axle load, on-board displays and other equipment.
