Dear partners,
Mechatronics is pleased to introduce a new tool that makes installing wired and wireless fuel level sensors faster, easier, and more accurate — our telegram bot for automatic fuel tank calibration table generation.
You can access it here:
https://t.me/calibratemytank_bot
How it works:
1.Open our telegram bot in Telegram messenger and click “Start”.
2.Choose the language.
3.Authorize with your login and password from mechatronics-service.com cloud service. You can register there if you don’t have account yet.
3.1 After registration you need to create a company on mechatronics-service.com

3.2 After the company is approved by the administrator, you will have access to the Telegram bot. Set login/password when propted by but.
4. Select the shape of your fuel tank from the supported options.

5. Enter the tank dimensions (length, width, height, diameter, etc.) and the sensor length according to the bot prompts.

6. If you know the tank’s total volume but can’t easily measure some parameters (for example, rounded corners), simply enter the known volume — the bot will automatically adjust dimensions to match it.

The bot instantly calculates a calibration table ready for upload into your tracking platform.
Frequently asked questions (F.A.Q.)
1. Is it free?
Yes, it is free. You only need Telegram messenger account and Mechatronics cloud server account (https://mechatronics-service.com/).
It is also free but for Mechatronics customers only.
2. Is it accurate?
Math operations are very accurate. Real tank shape is not ideal though. So accuracy is defined by how close real tank shape to ideal one used in calculation. If tank has noticeable defects of shape (crumpled, bent, inclined) – this method will give noticeable error.
3. What is the format of tank calibration table?
It is csv-format, compatible with Wialon. But if it is not compatible – you can just retype it in format you need.
4. Do i need to calibrate the sensor?
Yes, to use math tank calibration you need real sensor EMPTY-FULL calibration in the tube. So you need plastic tube and several liters of fuel to immerse sensor in it. Or turn the sensor over and pour fuel between the electrodes.
5. Can i use it for wired or wireless Eurosens fuel level sensors?
For both, just calibrate the sensor empty-full. Calibration table expects that sensor output signal is in the range of 1….4095. So for Eurosens Dominator BT sensor set 40.95 value in calibration table for FULL condition.
If you are not Eurosens user but you want to test this bot – contact us and we will provide you access.
